The Belfast Comics Pub Meet is held on the first Thursday of every month at the Cloth Ear, Waring Street, Belfast from 9pm. Anyone interested in creating comics is welcome. The first incarnation of the pub meet was organised by Andrew Luke in 2000-2002. The current incarnation has been running since February 2008, initially organised by P. J. Holden and held at the Garrick bar on Chichester Street. The torch then passed to Stephen Downey, then to Patrick Brown, and it moved to the Cloth Ear in January 2011.
