Dead Soldier is a four issue miniseries published by Dynamite Entertainment and Liquid Comics, beginning in September 2010. It is written by Irish filmmakers John Moore and Richie Smyth, and drawn by Dean Hyrapiet.

It concerns Colonel John Donner, an American soldier from the First World War, who, lost and shellshocked after surviving a German attack, is transformed into an immortal being of superhuman power, who pledges to avenge his fallen comrades, not just in this war, but in future ones as well.

The idea was pitched as a film by Richie to Moore, who suggested doing it as a comic.
