The Queen- "I am resolutely opposed to any disturbances of the Fundamental Law."

Gladstone.- Pardon, your Majesty, but the Fundamental Law has been already very much disturbed. See what I tore from it in 1869.

Parnell- And if I can only tear away this ugly bloodstained part, there will remain a real Fundamental Law that everyone will be glad to subscribe to, and to obey.
