An Sclábhaí (2001)
An Sclábhaí ("the slave") is an Irish-language comic written by Colmán Ó Raghallaigh, drawn by Tomm Moore, coloured by Michael McGrath, lettered by Diane O'Reilly, and published by Cló Mhaigh Eo in 2001. It tells the story of the young Saint Patrick, kidnapped and enslaved by Irish raiders, and his escape from enslavement. It is followed by An Teachtaire ("the messenger"), in which Patrick returns to Ireland as a missionary.
