Richard Barr is a Belfast-born screenwriter and poet, who contributed reviews on mini-comics to TRS2 between 2000-2001. Richard also contributed illustrations to The Implausibility of Reason (2000-2001), a Beat-movement inspired illustrated story by Marcel Angel. As Professor Octagon, he co-writes Hold the Phones, it's Alex Jones! with Andrew Luke.
