The Secret of Kells is a comics adaptation of the animated film of the same name by the film's director Tomm Moore, with colour by Fabian Erlinghauser, Ray Forkin and Svend Rothman Bonde with lettering, in French and Dutch, done by Cliodhna Lyons. It was published in French as Brendan et le secret de Kells in 2009, and since 2010 is available to buy in English as an online comic via ComiXology. Set in the 9th century, it follows twelve-year-old Brendan as he fulfils his dream of being an illuminator on the Book of Kells, while facing his fears of Viking invasion.
