The Society for the Remarkable Suicide is a three part series written by Stephen Paul Coffey and illustrated by Cormac Hughes and Rob Carey. Although the book advocates against suicide, its controversial subject matter led to it having its Facebook page taken down before publication. The story deals with the father of a young man who commits, out of regret that his son has become just another statistic, forms an organisation that encourages suididal people to end their lives in spectacular and memorable fashion - but his first two members overcome their suicidal desires through love. The first issue is launched at Dublin City Comics and Collectables on 20 April 2011.
