Will Sliney

Will Sliney is a comics artist from Cork. Starting in the small press, he drew the story "Sleepwalker", written by Kieran Murphy, in FutureQuake #8, and Rob Curley's 1950s superhero comic Atomic Rocket Group 66 in 2007. Beginning in 2009, he has drawn several comics spun off from the science fiction TV series Farscape for Boom! Studios, including the 4-part miniseries "Strange Detractors" (2009) and the ongoing series Farscape (2009-present), as well as covers for other series. On the web, he drew The Symptoms, written by Dave Hendrick, which came fourth on DC's webcomic competition site Zuda in September 2009, and wrote and drew The Age of Heroes, a superhero comic which he serialised on his blog in January-February 2010. Beginning in April 2011, he drew the strip "Dug Out" for the UK Star Wars: The Clone Wars comic. He is working on a forthcoming mythologically-based series, Celtic Warrior: The Legend of Cú Chulainn.

He is a member of the Eclectic Micks sketchblog. He was previously attached to Classical Comics' forthcoming adaptation of Shakespeare's Richard III, but this is now to be drawn by Rob Moran.
